The 8th annual Waynesville trip took place Thursday November 2 through Sunday Nov. 5, 2000.
K. Parish was in charge and with D. Van Hoff's assistance things ran smoothly as usual.

Format was similar to WW7 except as listed below.

• Several participants actually flew in.  Talk about dedication! 
• The Dogwood course had been redesigned and is ready for play.  No more shots across the road on the "goofy golf" hole.
• R. Patrick was a new participant this year.
• M. Apfel and G. Franklin returned after being absent for a couple of years..
• The "Early Bird" participants reserved 3 tee times Thursday morning.
